It Happened to me…It could Happen to You
What happened?
Ashland happened.
For me it happened eight years ago strolling by Ashland Creek through Lithia Park. A friend who’d once lived in town-and only reluctantly had to leave-commanded me to move here. He spoke about the wonderful people I’d meet and befriend, and about the sense of community, the deep satisfying feeling of being truly connected.
He didn’t have to sell me on the surroundings. Being able to walk beside flowing water shaded by towering Ponderosa pines and majestic madrones just blocks from the downtown Plaza…that was enough for me. That and Shakespeare…and…
Since then, I’ve heard scores of similar stories from folks who were passing through town or visiting to see a play or two, or floating the Rogue River. They came, they saw, they settled. Like me, they couldn’t be more grateful that they did.
If you’ve spent anytime at all in this magical place, you know what I mean.
And, if ever you’ve dreamed of moving here to Ashland, please allow me the honor of helping you make those dreams come true.
